Jewellery Care

Your jewellery should be handled with care at all times.

Remove jewellery before doing any of the following:

  • Washing your hands
  • Bathing/Showering
  • Undertaking any sporting activity
  • Swimming
  • Applying products (e.g. sun cream, moisturizer, perfume, hairspray)

Ensure your jewellery avoids contact with water and any products that are not PH balance.

Put your jewellery on last when dressing (after applying any products) and take off first when undressing.

Store your jewellery away from natural sunlight, ideally in a cool, dry and dark space.

Jewellery items should be individually placed in a pouch or within a soft lined box to stop them being scratched or tangled.

CLEANING YOUR JEWELLERY

All jewellery will tarnish over time, but it will happen much faster when it comes into contact with products such as perfume, moisturiser, hairspray etc. The amount and speed of tarnishing (oxidation) that occurs is dependent on the care habits of the wearer. Tarnishing is not a manufacturing fault.

In order to keep your jewellery looking its best and avoid it tarnishing, clean it regularly by gently rubbing it with a lint free soft cloth. Do not use tissue paper or paper towels to clean metal as they can cause scratching.

Do not expose the jewellery to any cleaning products unless recommended. In no circumstances should bleach, ammonia, chlorine or salt water be used to clean your jewellery.
